For Today
A pair of wing walls found at an abandoned farm property in Virginia. When I took this picture, I did not think too much about it–at the time it was simply to document the property’s landscape. But looking at it the other night, I realized that there might be a little more going on than I thought–I liked the texture of the aggregate and the grasses.
I do not know exactly what it is about wing walls that draw me to them-I guess they remind me of welcoming arms to someone coming to visit.

I really love this! It really does look like a welcoming chair!
Thanks Becky-when I was looking through photos, I was amazed in general how many pictures of these types of walls I had-who knew?
