In Motion

Another experiment in slow panning and dragging. I was walking by this house on my street and saw this little car and a small road grader. Using both the Nikon and my iPhone I took several pictures of each. Then I decided drag the viewer slowly across the scene using the Nikon and iPhone. I imagined if I was a small person in the car–what would I want to do?

Why, go fast of course. As fast as the wind.

The iPhone image came out better-I used Slow Shutter for this image and processed with Rad Lab’s Pic-Tap-Go.

For today: Go. Fast. Now.

Go. Fast. Now.

Go. Fast. Now.

    • Hey Jeri-one of the things I am learning is that you need to pan slow, and I mean slow to get a sense of motion. Otherwise it turns into a really soupy blurry mess. But it is fine to play with and even the accidents are possibilities for something else-thank you for stopping by-

  1. Very neat! The boys had one of these things and I always wondered how it would be to be able to ride in it. Now I can kind of see.. Thanks for the vision

    • I have a love-hate relationship with these toys-I am fascinated on one hand by their shape and color, but on the other, they are sort of scary too. Kind of like clowns . . . brrrrrr.
