Of Summers Passed

I am still having limited movement with my ankle, but today I tried to walk a bit throughout the afternoon. This old thermometer hangs in the mudroom of my house. It reminds me of an old RC thermometer that used to hang in my grandfather’s old IGA store in Nebraska. You do not see these around much anymore, but for me, they are a happy memory of summertime, of ice-cold sodas in glass bottles, and cherry popsicles.

Image taken with Camera+ and processed with Simply HDR and Photo Toaster.

For today: Summer Memory
