Emerald City?

Nope-

just Uptown Charlotte–which can be full of interesting surprises. This building, which appears to have been constructed possibly in the 1930s has a belt line of green glass blocks. I love glass block and this is one of the more imaginative ways I have seen it used. This probably would never do well on a building up north because of the climate, but here it has stood the test of time–so far. I used a filter to break up the blocks a bit-but it is a true triple band of green glass–and very, very cool.
