Summer Abstract

It is the end of summer here–officially anyway–and I caught this small canna-it is the last of the bunch. It has been awhile since I did some double-exposures, so I took a picture of this great mulberry tree in my backyard too. It was also an opportunity to try out  a new app–Photocopier–that I have absolutely fallen in love with. It replicates art, photograph and film processes–mostly color, texture and tones–with some terrific results. This image borrowed from da Vinci and Cezanne for its tones and color. I am still exploring it-but it has a world of possibilities. And at 1.99 how can you go wrong?
