A Different Kind of Decor

I love it when parents let the kids do some of the outside decorating. I do not know what it is about it exactly that appeals to me–perhaps the perfectly imperfect effects that do not care about precision or having something to be just so. Or maybe it is just putting the holiday back into small hands. The house across the street from me was quite busy Sunday as the kids were putting in place various Halloween decorations and of course, stringing the fake cob-webby  material all around. I caught this today on their porch.
