Dog Day Christmas

Many of the ornaments on my Christmas tree are dog inspired. Some of the first dogs I had as an adult dog-owner were black labs and foxhounds, two breeds that I also adore. The black lab ornament always goes near the top of the tree, next to the black lab angel (not shown). I love the foxhound ornament because it just to me, captures the hounds at what one of the things they do best-running together.

  1. Beautiful! I always save a special spot at the top of our tree for the train ornament you gave us years ago. You also introduced me to Yankee Candles and for that I’m forever grateful!
