Forgotten Past

While out at the barn earlier in the week, I took a walk with the stable owner and my friend to the remains of a grist mill located near the property. There is not much left-an old logging trail, the remains of an old barn, and these stone piers which once belonged to the mill located near the Rocky River. The piers still stand strong–a true testament to the abilities of its builders.
