Small Wonders

I believe these tiny flowers are called “star flowers.” They come in white and purple and appear up in many older yards during early spring-in fact, it is not uncommon to see an entire yard covered with these flowers. They will re-seed and spread each year. Some people find them a nuisance, but I really like them a lot. So mowing is off-limits until the last bloom has a chance to shine.

  1. These little star flowers are beautiful and a whole yard full of them would be something to see. Glad mowing is off limits for the duration of flowering.
