The Passing of Time

Many of you have seen bits and pieces of this old store in some other photographs. This is the actual building-located along a road that ran past the main farmhouse and down to the river. It appears typical of the old crossroads stores that dotted rural areas throughout the South, but which are rapidly disappearing due to the passage of time, weather and progress. This building will probably just rot away-its timber and hardware to be claimed by the earth.
