Porch Study

I have a wire shelving unit on my porch-on one of the shelves I have kept interesting finds from surveys and walks–bits and pieces of bird’s nests, magnolia and cotton pods, bird feathers, shells, nineteenth century rose-head nails, dried hydrangeas, and sea glass. It is interesting to see people look and study the items. Everyone from the postman, to young children, and other visitors spend a bit of time looking and who knows . . . remembering?
