On the Street Where I Live #8

Night time is quiet time. Except for the occasional barking of a dog or a car driving along, the street is quiet. In cooler weather, Jack Henry and I will go for late night walks and take in the sights.

    • This is a great street-lots of lovely oaks, magnolias and crepe myrtles line the street-in the autumn it can be quite lovely as well. Plenty of shade, though when it is leaf raking time, not always so much fun 😉

      • Ah, leaf raking.! Having evergreen trees on the whole here that doesn’t cause a problem. I do associate leaf raking with bonfires (no longer allowed – pollution) and compost bins. Still like the trees on your street though 🙂
