  1. This post reminds me of suburbia. The everyday little things that city people get that those living in the country don’t. The daily paper and the finding of same. Thanks for the memories 🙂

    • Yes, that is true. Of course with this current paperperson, the challenge is trying to figure out when and where the paper will appear–if it comes at all. But it is also a disappearing sight too-either people do not subscribe to a paper at all or else rely on online editions-it is kind of sad to see in some ways-

      • I hadn’t thought of that Meg. I keep up to date online during the week but my Saturday is spent with the large Saturday paper that I go into to town especially to buy. I still like the feel of paper in my hands and that goes for books too 🙂 Bit sad to see but it is so very convenient online.

      • Oh I hear that Lee-like you, I still prefer holding books, but being able to read online is also very handy at times-right now, the best of both worlds 😉
