A Double Dose of Color

These are the entrance doors to a church up the street from me. They used to be painted a stately white, but are now purple in keeping with the church’s new name, “The Vine.”

As you might imagine, reactions are mixed in the neighborhood. Myself, I find the color deep, rich, and an interesting contrast to the simple stained glass transom.

Image taken with iPhone 5s and processed with Snapseed and Pic-Tap-Go.

For today: Purple

    • Thank you JoAnn-the church has been around for over 50 some years in this neighborhood and the current minister wants to shake things up a bit-he has! Time will tell if this new approach works-Thank you so much for visiting!

    • Purple is a funny color-I think people are either drawn to it or not-as you can imagine, the new color has allowed people to weigh in with their opinions 😉 ! Thank you for visiting Julie-I am enjoying seeing your part of the world-it is truly lovely!
