Until Next Spring . . .

The Cherry Blossoms are pretty much gone now for the year. I think this year’s blooms were among some of the brightest and most abundant than in previous years. We had a wet winter, a pretty wet spring so far, and the tree was pruned a bit in the fall, so that may have helped the tree along too. I will miss the blooms, but look forward to seeing them again next year.

    • Thanks Joan-the blossoms are completely gone now except for some remnants that fell onto the pavement and got stuck because of the rain. I suspect in another week, there will be no traces left at all of this lovely spring episode-

  1. So soft and beautiful. I enjoyed my first painting session the other day. I have learnt that you need to have good brushes – I had super cheap brushes and lost half the bristles straight away. It was nice getting back into it. Must finish it before I post it. Plus I want to enter an art competition for Hastings Fruit Growers.
