14/365 Flowers & Memory

Some dried roses from my mother’s garden, an old French botany text and a charm bracelet worn when she was in her teens-

    • Thanks Joan-another one of the interesting surprises over the last few months was the number of beaus, my mother had in high school. She was a homecoming queen and was quite popular among her classmates-which we would have never known had we not gone through those boxes. She never talked about it. Some of her brothers gave her a few of the charms, but there are others whose names we do not recognize-she was a lady of mystery in many ways-

  1. Exquisite image Meg, it’s sad to find things and have no way of knowing the past history and yet we can still cherish them for whom they belonged to.
