68/366 Purgatory #3

A visit to the “wabi-sabi” pile to see what possibilities there were. I must admit an ongoing fascination right now with doing these photographs. I am not sure I can explain it, it is just something I feel.

Image taken with iPhone 5s and processed with Snapseed, Formulas, Repix and iColorama-

    • Thank you Lee-this has been one of the more fulfilling exercises this year and I can see continuing with it-all because of a small orange freesia-and it reminds me–again–of the potential to be found all around us-

  1. I really like this image. Feels like a memory. A suggestion of the passing of time, of a dying bouquet, of autumn, of the ending of things. But with a flash of light (optimism). Very nice

  2. I have some drying flowers that just bring my attention almost daily. I think that it fascinates because at every stage there is something magical to behold: contrasts, hues, lines, shapes and much more.
