110/366 Three and Counting . . .

This week I am spending part of the time at the downtown office for The Midwood Press, home of The Longleaf Pine, the “little magazine” that my friend and business partner publish. I framed our completed issue covers to hang as a reminder that we have in fact published three issues in the last year, with two more slated for 2016. (But I forgot to bring the nails to hang the pictures. d’oh!)

Our next goal is to branch out into chapbooks, both prose/poetry and photography. So I need to brush up on my bookmaking skills.

I also realized I do not do a very good job of taking note of what has been accomplished–I am always looking at the next thing or what needs to be improved on.

  1. Congratulations on the journey so far, Meg. No wonder you’ve been busy, hope it’s all going great for you and yes we do need to stop and look at what we’ve achieved, because if you only look ahead it sometimes seems unsurmountable.

  2. Yes, it is good to sort of catalog one’s accomplishments. And if you keep this up, you’re going to guilt me into buying those suckers!
