120/366 White Blooms

There is a tree in the backyard that has tiny white blooms. I am not sure what it is. I do know the tree is old and has been there maybe, since the house was built. Anyway, with Hubble’s help, we cut a small branch to photograph for today.

For today: White Blooms

  1. It’s a beautiful branch (pat, pat thank you Hubble) and the tree must look glorious when in full bloom. Love the effect you’ve give the branch, Meg beautifully soft.

    • Thanks Lee-Yes, Hubble is quite the helper in the backyard. I have been trying to spend at least 30 minutes a day out there-there is so much to do, it can get quite overwhelming-but when I need a break, my little friend is right there with a ball or toy to throw-I am really enjoying doing still life of nature and flowers. It has become quite the meditative exercise-

  2. The blossoms are lovely, so soft and delicate. And thanks to Hubble for his help! Is that why you have the cut end hidden? – torn and ripped rather than straight cut? 😉

    • Ha! 🙂 No, he helps by watching most of the time–sometimes with branches that have been trimmed he runs off with them, but generally he is company when I am out there. I think sometimes he is most happiest running and playing in the yard-always busy that one-Thanks Joan!
