315/366 Take 12! November

I ended up sticking close to the house today–it seemed like a good day to do that. ย As I was looking through my images for today, it pretty much boiled down to small groupings of different things that hopefully might be of some visual interest.

Images taken with Polamatic and iPhone 5s and processed with Polamatic 600, 300 and SFX70 presets

For today: Take 12! November

    • Thanks Bill- as usual, I feel like I am doing this on the fly which forces you to not think a whole lot about what you are doing. But I am glad that there is one more month left to do. After almost 4 years of doing this, I am ready to hang the Take 12! up and move on to something other kind of monthly project. So I say today- ๐Ÿ˜‰

  1. OMG!!! It never even occurred to my it was the 12th yesterday and I missed it. Too much other good stuff going on in my life at the moment I think ๐Ÿ™‚ Enjoyed seeing your take on the 12th. Love Hubble!

    • Not a problem Lee! It sounds like you have plenty of good stuff going on-I always enjoy it when you can participate, but believe me your images as of late from Alaska are a more than wonderful trade-off ๐Ÿ˜‰ Thanks so much for looking!

    • Not a dum dum at all Niki-I live in an old house and these taps are the original bath taps. The “waste” is what you turn to drain and fill the tub. I like Buttons too and am looking forward to playing around with scraps and buttons during the colder months-Thanks so much for visiting!

  2. I love Hubble’s Crew. Of course, I love Hubble’s startled look. The Squirrel Stalker was pretty funny because it had the ominous feel with the dog being shot in the shadows. Thanks for the smiles, Meg!

    • Our pleasure Susan-yes, Hubble is the bane of the squirrels around here. That tree is very close to the windows and you can hear them scampering up and down. Makes Hubble nuts-so he keeps a close watch on them-I wish he would do it more quietly though- ๐Ÿ˜‰

      • My Boxer, Sophie was the guardian of our yard. She hated squirrels, birds, and rabbits. Oddly enough, when we lived in the Southwest, she was ok with roadrunners. Go figure. She also loved deer. I think she thought they were her crew or something!

      • That is so funny–Jack Henry for the most part, gives a wide berth to wild life-he was confronted by a possum in a tree one night and he was terrified. Hubble on the other hand is fearless–so much so that I really have to keep an eye on him. He always thinks he is going to come out the winner-๐Ÿ˜ฌ

      • Yes. My lab, Melanie decided to “tree” a raccoon and she wasn’t even a hound! The raccoon of course was having none of that behavior so he or she hissed at Melanie. That was the end of Mel’s need to exert herself. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • W-e-e-l-l- Sometimes Hubble lets me squeak them too ๐Ÿ˜‰ He does love his toys-and I admit I probably spend too much time carefully picking out the *perfect* ones for each dog ๐Ÿ˜‰ Thanks Julie!
