171/366 In the Kitchen

One of the many things I brought back after my mother died was her marble rolling pin and pastry board. I am more of a baker than a cook, and using both has been wonderful not only for their utility, but for their memories-

    • It is that-my mother liked to cook okay–I think it was a challenge sometimes just to get meals to the table for 8 people-but baking, I think she really enjoyed-for years, cookies, cakes and pies were always made from scratch-I brought back many of her older cookbooks too, which are something to page through-Thanks Bill!
